Evidence-based Interventions in Rural Settings

An analysis was conducted on the selection, implementation, and adaptation strategies of 70 rural communities. This study (2016) illustrates the various ways that rural communities were able to utilize an evidence-based approach to develop interventions.  The study was published in the Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved and can be found on Project MUSE.  The research was carried out by Georgia Health Policy Center staff.
