Campbell Law 45th Anniversary Alumni Spotlight: Megan West Sherron ’10
Nominee: Megan West Sherron, Class of 2010
Megan West Sherron is a 2010 Campbell Law School graduate and the current Assistant Dean of External Relations at the law school. Sherron was instrumental in starting the award-winning Campbell Law Connections Mentorship Program, which gives students and new attorneys a pathway to mentorship in an area of their interest.In 2016, under Sherron’s leadership, the Connections program won the E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Award from the American Bar Association, effectively showcasing the program as the model for all others to follow. She started Campbell Laws Alumni Association and serves as the law school liaison to the association board. She also served as Campbell University’s Assistant General Counsel from July 2018 to December 2019. Prior to working at Campbell, Sherron was an associate attorney at Martin & Jones, representing clients in personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability cases. She graduated from Wake Forest University in 2007 with a degree in business and she is married to Neill Sherron and they have a 2-year-old son named Fitz. She loves sweet tea, the beach and visiting her family in Murphy, North Carolina.
Tara Regimand Anstett is a 2017 graduate of Campbell Law School and currently serves as Corporate Counsel at InstroTek Inc. Prior to joining InstroTek, she was the assistant director of external relations at Campbell Law and worked as executive assistant and law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals after graduation. While in law school, Anstett interned with the North Carolina State Bar and served as a judicial intern for North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul Newby. She is a 2014 graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned a bachelor’s of arts in psychology.
