Camels Unite! Alumni collaborate to support current students for an upcoming community health fair
Jennifer Holley (’18 MPAP), PA-C and Regional Chapter President for NCAPA, reached out to local businesses in an effort to gather items for the current didactic class of Campbell PA students who are participating in an upcoming health fair at the Coharie Tribal Center in Clinton, NC on Saturday, April 29.
Freddy Adams (’99 PharmD) with Southeast Family Pharmacy in Goldsboro donated a talking blood glucose meter with enough supplies to check 200 individuals’ glucose level. Holley said, “I asked him what is the best price you can give me on a meter with supplies. Next thing you know, he’s offered to donate the meter and all the supplies! His only stipulation was that I pass along to the PA class to make sure they befriend their local pharmacists when they graduate in order to have the best working relationship possible. I certainly agree with that advice 100%.”
