Campbell Online launches four new bachelor’s programs

Campbell Online recently added four new degree programs to its offerings, bringing the total number of bachelor’s programs to more than 20.

Programs include communications studies – generalist, communication studies – public relations, cybersecurity and special education.

“It’s a priority for Campbell Online to offer degrees that meet the needs of our students and our communities, and we are proud to offer these new fully online programs, “ said Dr. Guy Vitaglione, assistant dean and the director for online education.

Take a closer look at the new programs:

Communication Studies – Generalist (BA)

Campbell’s generalist curriculum provides a broad approach that prepares students with the skills to be successful in a variety of careers and industries.

Career opportunities: Public Relations Specialist, Meeting/Event Planner, Social Media Manager, Business Reporter and Brand Manager.

Communication Studies – Public Relations (BA)

Students interested in pursuing a career in public relations will learn how to engage in media, government, community, health, crisis, internal and shareholder relations.

Cybersecurity (BS)

The program prepares students to fill vital roles in national, state and local agencies by promoting research in cyber detection and defense.

Career options: Security Analyst, Security Consultant, Cryptographer, Lead Software Security Engineer

Special Education (BS)

Campbell provides students with an evidence-based approach to teaching students with disabilities, understanding and evaluating student performance and modifying instruction to help all students achieve academic success.

Registration is open. Both communication studies programs and cybersecurity are also being offered at Campbell’s extended campuses at  Camp Lejeune,  Fort Liberty and Raleigh
