Monica Rivers
Monica Rivers is a licensed psychologist and strengths-oriented, strategic thinker with expertise in talent and pipeline development, leadership assessment and coaching, organizational development and consulting, and program design and facilitation. She is driven by a deep commitment to help optimize the health and development of individuals, organizations, and communities through informed, contextually sensitive methodologies and engagement strategies., clinical psychologist, consults and coaches leaders through the Center for Creative Leadership and other organizations.
She has served on the faculty of Winston-Salem State University and Wake Forest Divinity School. She serves on the advisory council of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity.
Rev. Mycal Brickhouse
Reverend Mycal Xavier Brickhouse serves as the 16th Senior Pastor of Cary First Christian Church in Cary, NC.
A forever Tar Heel, Rev. Brickhouse earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in African American Studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
On a mission of reconciliation, Rev. Brickhouse earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Duke Divinity School, where he was awarded the Julian Abele Student of the Year Award.
Rev. Brickhouse has also completed the Black Theology and Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary; and the Millennial Leaders Project Summer Conference at Union Theological Seminary.
Dr. David Cassady
Over the last 30 years, Cassady has served churches directly and through organizational leadership in publishing, business, and curriculum development.
Cassady is the founder and president of Faithlab, a growing communications and consulting firm that works with a wide range churches and religious nonprofits. As part of Faithlab’s work, Cassady assembled a team that created Faithelement, an innovative online Bible study curriculum now used by hundreds of classes. He can be heard weekly on the Faithelement podcast
He also serves as the Church Resources Editor and is a member of the book acquisitions team for Nurturing Faith. The organization, together with the team at Faithlab, publishes around 15 titles per year, as well as the popular Nurturing Faith Bible Studies.
Cassady taught philosophy and religion courses as an adjunct at Wesleyan College, a historic women’s college in Macon, Georgia. He also served on the Christian Education and Nurture Committee for the Baptist World Alliance.
