How are you making a positive impact? I am excited to start my ambassador position in CPHS and help incoming students transition into the DPT program. I believe we will be making a positive impact on incoming students by showing them what Campbell is about.

Why did you choose CPHS and what benefits do you believe you are gaining from attending Campbell? Did you connect with the “Campbell family?” I chose to be a part of CPHS because of the “family” approach of the program as well as the patient centered approach. Also being able to get into the clinic and be a part of the pro bono clinic so early in school is really beneficial to becoming a well-rounded therapist.

Please summarize your personal, business, and academic journey. I graduated from Appalachian State University (ASU) in 2021, receiving my BS in Exercise Science with a minor in nutrition. At Appalachian State I was a member of the Exercise Science club, a member and secretary of the Appalachian State Snowboarding team, and an advisor for the Health Professions program. I was also part of the welcoming committee for incoming freshman and was in charge of touring them around the campus and helping them prepare for the first week of classes. I was involved in research for the Exercise Science department at ASU and studied abroad in Italy during the summer semester, learning about the approach of exercise science abroad. After applying to physical therapy schools across the state, I decided to continue my educational career at Campbell. I have loved my experiences on campus. I am a part of the first year Student Government Association as the social chair and am excited to continue as a Student Ambassador.

Reasons why prospective students should choose Campbell over other Graduate and Professional Schools: The family environment, education, and focus on rural health are all huge reasons that I decided to choose Campbell over other graduate schools. One unique aspect of Campbell is that our professors are available at any time to help us with any problem we may face.
