Have You Considered Leaving a Legacy Through the Wiggins Society?

BUIES CREEK – For generations, Campbell University has been strengthened by alumni and friends who believe in investing not only in today’s students, but in those who will follow. The Wiggins Society, Campbell’s Legacy Society, honors individuals who have chosen to support the University through their estate plans. These planned gifts help ensure that the mission, programs, and opportunities that shaped your life continue to flourish for decades to come.

Many alumni are surprised to learn that the most significant gift they may ever make can come through their estate. A planned gift—such as a bequest in a will, a percentage of one’s estate, or a life insurance policy—can be directed to support the University as a whole or the specific school, program, or scholarship that means the most to you. Alumni can also make meaningful annual contributions through tools like Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) or Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), which can provide tax advantages while supporting the causes they care about at Campbell.

If you have already included Campbell in your estate plans—thank you! We would love to hear from you so we can welcome you into the Wiggins Society and ensure your intentions are fully understood and honored.

If you’ve considered an estate gift but aren’t sure where to start, we’re here to help. We can answer questions, explore options that fit your goals, or assist you in crafting a plan that reflects your values and the legacy you want to leave.
