Master of Athletic Training Faculty: Dr. Sarah Christie
What is your role at Campbell?
I joined Campbell University as the director of the Athletic Training program and associate professor in August 2015. I am responsible for the oversight of the Athletic Training program and instructing core athletic training courses.
What are your research interests?
I have presented at national, regional, and state conferences and am an advocate of student research, having mentored students in conducting and presenting their own research at professional conferences. My research interests include team-based learning teaching strategies and patient simulation in athletic training education.
What have you gained from working at Campbell?
I believe work experience provides an important opportunity to grow personally. I believe Campbell University has allowed me to greatly increase my knowledge, personal attributes and skills.
What are the accomplishments, passions, and experiences that you bring to the Campbell family?
I am passionate about Athletic Training! I have been involved in the profession since I was fifteen years old and have never looked back. Having passion for your work is energizing, and if you can harness it great things can happen!
