Multi-Part Series Examines Factors Driving Rural Health

The Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) has released a 7-part series dubbed “Making Connections”. This series highlights many public health challenges and opportunities that are unique to rural communities, involving each of the following parts:

  • Built and Natural Environment
  • Economy
  • Education
  • Health Insurance Coverage and Technology
  • Using a Systems Perspective to drive Rural-Relevant Solutions to Health Disparities

The GHPC is committed to improving the health of rural communities effectively and sustainably. They have created the “Making Connections” series as an addition to their “Understanding the Rural Landscape” learning module.
