Pharmacy Faculty: Dr. Catherine Wente
What is your role at Campbell?
I have the privilege of lecturing in all three years of our Pharmacy program and precepting our P4 students for Internal Medicine at Duke Regional Hospital. I also teach in our PA program.
What are your research interests?
Innovative teaching and learning techniques, anticoagulation, inpatient diabetes management, stroke and other neurological disorders.
What have you gained from working at Campbell?
I LOVE working at Campbell. It’s truly my “happy place.” Interacting with our students is the highlight of my job.
What are the accomplishments, passions, and experiences that you bring to the Campbell family?
I am active at Hope Community Church and enjoy working in community outreach for efforts towards slowing the opioid epidemic. I enjoy spending quality time with my growing family and watching hockey with my husband. Fun fact – we got married at Butler Chapel on Campbell’s main campus.

Doctorate of Pharmacy from West Virginia University, Certified Anticoagulation Care Provider (CACP), Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
