Photo series by graphic design professor chosen for expo in Bulgaria

Three photos taken by Dejan Mraović, assistant professor of graphic design and coordinator of Campbell University’s Graphic Design program, were were selected for the 13th Lessedra International Painting & Mixed Media Exhibition in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital city.

Mraović’s three photos — Woman from Belgrade I, Woman from Belgrade II, and Woman from Belgrade III — were displayed at the expo held Dec. 15, 2022, through April 30 in the Lessedra Gallery. Paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and mixed media created by 111 artists from  31 countries were selected for the exhibition.

“I hope that this kind of work will motivate our graphic design students and encourage them to do it, too,” Mraović said.
