TRANSCRIPT
Hello! I’m Brad Creed the president of Campbell University, and I want to welcome you to our campus.
Today just like you we’re navigating a challenging new world with the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The safety of our student body is our greatest priority. Our people here are pulling together to ensure the health and the well-being of our entire campus.
Now we have a decided advantage in this challenge because we’re camels, and the camel is one of the most resilient creatures in the animal kingdom.
So we’re confident as we move forward into the future, and with great anticipation and expectation we are looking towards the fall semester when we welcome you here on campus.
I fully understand that your senior year of high school is ending a lot differently than you had expected.
Well, we at Campbell look forward to helping you create new memories as you become a part of this place, and we’ll do our best to prepare you for the future.
If you’ve already deposited, we thank you for confirming your seat and we look forward to welcoming you as a new member of the fall class.
For those of you who are still deciding we want you to know that you have a place here in the Creek in this community called Campbell University.
You’ll be hearing from us soon about how to make that next step.
Exciting days await even amidst the present challenges, and we look forward to seeing you all in August.
Until then take care, keep calm, wash your hands, and GO CAMELS!
