Student Pharmacist Jessica Massengill organized flu shot clinics for students. She believes that Campbell pharmacy student organizations help expand leadership and time management skills.
Accomplishments, strengths, and passions:
I have worked in both hospital and retail pharmacy. I feel like my work experience has helped me decide what I want to do in my career. I currently have a passion for retail pharmacy because of the daily interactions with patients. I feel like my experiences allow me to bring real-life scenarios to the classroom and apply it to discussions.
“I serve as a student ambassador. In this role I get to share my love for Campbell and pharmacy with prospective students.”
Career Goals
I am interested in retail pharmacy and ambulatory care pharmacy. I have considered completing a residency after graduation.
Involvement and Passions
This past year I was as the Operation Immunization chair for APhA-ASP. I had the privilege of organizing all of the flu shot clinics for students. I am a brother of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and I serve as a student ambassador. In this role, I get to share my love for Campbell and pharmacy with prospective students. These organizations have helped me expand my leadership and time management skills.
