I am a serial craft hobbyist and workout enthusiast. I am always trying a new fitness class or tinkering with beads, needlepoint, fabrics, etc.

Women’s History Month is a celebration of how women have excelled despite the deliberate and persistent challenges heaped upon them by law, society and culture. It is a stark reality in our country and world that women often have to prove they deserve every opportunity — but when given the chance, women have succeeded (and thrived) beyond expectation.

My mom is my inspiration. She is fiercely loving as a mother and made several sacrifices in her military career to ensure I had a stable and supported upbringing. It brings me joy to carry her legacy of resilience in both my professional and personal life, and I aspire to make her proud every day.

I live my life without limits and do not feel burdened by expectations. I hope to inspire others to do the same, because you never know where that next “yes” or “why not?” could lead to.

Commit to the hustle and stay humble. Basically, stay focused on the end goal or dream you have and allow law school to be your priority (it’s only three years!), and do not be afraid to reach out for help and guidance — people are willing and ready to help!
